2017: A year full of hits and new challenges at PY Hotels & Resorts

2017 is coming to an end, and we have to take stock of all the events occurred throughout this year. In the first place, group PY Hotels & Resorts must thank all our guests the trust they place in us when choosing our hotels and establishments to stay, as well as thank all our clients from the tourist sector who trust their establishments to us for their management. Thanks to all of you, we keep growing every year and achieving new recognition that makes us go on working with enthusiasm and motivation to offer a five-star service day after day.

The most awarded of all our establishments has been, one more year, Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel & Resort, which has received high recognition to quality, excellence and service from different national and international tour operators, besides ratifying its nomination for the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List, where the best hotels in Spain can be found, and receiving the prize for best hotel restaurant for its gourmet Isla de Lobos.

In addition, our hotel group has kept supporting local sports, sponsoring different teams from Lanzarote and national and international competitions. We are famous for revalidating the title of J80 sailing World Champions, with our boat Hotel Princesa Yaiza.

Solidarity always has a place in PY Hotels & Resorts, and this year we have contributed to multiple causes. As an example, we have collaborated with Make a Wish, a foundation dedicated to help children with life-threatening medical conditions, thanks to which we could make Lilly’s dream come true. She and all her family could enjoy a week stay at Hotel Princesa Yaiza, where the little girl felt like a real princess.

Besides that, last 17th of December, we celebrated the VII edition of our Christmas solidarity race Be Brave Run, in aid of the AMPA (Parents Association) of school Nuestra Señora de los Volcanes and the NGO Aloha Life. Their aim is helping children in Lanzarote, and this year almost 5,000 € have been collected for both associations, which will be destined to help children in the island.

Along this year, we have kept improving our facilities, directed towards an exponential growth at a national level. Our most important project this year has consisted of the full renovation of Hotel Fariones, thanks to which the establishment will be upgraded, from being a four to a five-star hotel, and along with Hotel Princesa Yaiza, they will be the two best five-star hotels in Lanzarote.

The last, but maybe most important thing, has been the employment created by our hotel group throughout 2017, with a staff who grows every year at the new establishments which are part of PY Hotels & Resorts in the Canary Islands, and that will keep growing thanks to our firm bet to offer the best service and unsurpassable quality and excellence standards.

One more year, we have gone on working thoroughly to improve and excel ourselves, and we will do the same in 2018, establishing new objectives to fulfil, new challenges to face and, of course, new hits we will keep sharing on this blog.
