    Gonzalo Calzadilla comes from Madrid. His years of experience as a cook enabled him to get several culinary awards, such as the Basque Culinary World Prize, and the 2015 Award to the Runner-up of the Madrid Regional Gastronomy Contest. Moreover, he won during two years in a row, in 2013 and 2014, the editions of the National Contest of Leon Torrijas (a Spanish version of canapes). His huge experience and his acknowledgements on a national scale make Gonzalo ideal to run such a great restaurant as the Isla de Lobos, which was recently acknowledged as the best hotel restaurant in the Canary Islands.
